Bella Hood Expansion Pack, ByAnnie
The Bella Hood Expansion Pack is an add on to the Bella Quilt Coat by ByAnnie, offering two different options for adding a hood to your coat. Choose an Attached Hood, fully integrated into the coat design, or a Removable Hood that can be added or removed whenever you like.
Both hood designs feature a refined three piece construction, creating a beautiful shape, contour and fit. Like the Bella Quilt Coat, the hoods are fully lined with no raw edges visible.
Two Hood Options
Attached Hood
For a new Bella Quilt Coat, the Attached Hood replaces the collar, creating a clean and beautifully integrated look. There is no zipper guard in this version, allowing the separating zipper to sit just below the neckline for comfort and a polished finish.
Removable Hood
The Removable Hood can be added to either a new or an existing Bella Quilt Coat. It attaches securely at three points using ByAnnie's Tool Free Snaps, making it easy to add or remove whenever you like. When making a new coat, the zipper guard can be omitted so the collar has more flexibility to fold down neatly at the neckline.
Two Design Options
Just like the Bella Quilt Coat, the hood can be made in two different views:
View A features contrasting fabrics on the sides of the hood, combined with a coordinating fabric or an FPP design for the centre panel. This allows you to create a striking accent.
View B has a classic quilted appearance, using one main fabric for both the sides and centre panel of the hood.
Both views feature a single lining fabric and are fully lined, with no raw edges visible.
More FPP Possibilities
For an extra creative touch, combine either hood style with the Bella Accent Sleeves FPP Expansion Pack, available separately. This allows you to add striking Foundation Paper Piecing details to the centre panel of the hood.

Required Pattern
